The IT industry all over the world

  The global IT industry is advanced day by day. There are many jobs related to IT industry. The engineer, the programmer, the job related to AI, the data scientist, and so on. I imagine the word of engineer, programmer is often heard. I explain AI and data scientist.

  AI is an abbreviation of Artificial Intelligence. AI is the technology that conducts the intelligent activity（ the learning, the inferencing, the judgement, the understanding of language, and so on ）on the computer instead of humans.

  The technology of the data science is the study to find rules using mathmatics, statistics, AI, deep learning from massive amount of data, and to use the rules for the business, the solution of task, the decision-making.

  One day I watched Chinese TV in the internet. I was very surprised at the evolution of the AI. The robots were carrying boxes, or handling a ball, or playing basketball. But there are tasks that only human can do. I thought we had to protect those tasks. 

  The world changes quickly, more and more convenient. It's good itself, but we mustn't depend on only computer.

The current state of the Japanese IT industry

  Let's view Japan from another viewpoint. I want to tell about Japanese IT industry this time.

  IT industry is very popular all over the world. The word of IT is an abbreviation of Information Technology.

  To get the job related to IT, we need the personal computer. But the structure of PC is more and more complicated. Many people have difficulty to use PC now. Let's learn PC with me.

  PC has four main softwares. Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access. Excel is mainly used in our daily life or job.

  There are a lots of square devided into by grid lines in Excel. Please look at the part sorrounded by green lines. We call this "cell". We can input numbers, characters, letters in the cell.  You can input the name of the sheet in the part sorrounded by red lines. You can decide the name of it freely.

  Excel is very suitable for making the tables and the charts. I explain the table and the chart later.

  The line of "A, B, C, D……" is called "Column". The line of "1,2,3,4,5……" is called "Row".

  We learned cell, Column, Row, to input numbers, letters, and so on. Please try yourself.

Rice in the world

   I told you Japanese agriculture last time. What is the main farm product in Japan?―Yes, it's rice. The rice is staple food in Japan, too. Do you remember?

  To tell the truth, there are three types of rice all over the world. Indica rice, Japonica rice, and Javanica rice. Indica rice is mainly harvested rice in the world. Indica rice is long-shaped, is dry. Even if the rice has gone cold, it isn't tend to haden. Indica rice is mainly harvested in Thailand, India, Southeast, and so on. Indica rice is very suitable for curry, pilaf, and fried rice.

  Japonica rice is mainly harvested in Japan, the north part of China, the Korean Peninsula, California, and so on. "Koshihikari", "Akitakomachi" are very famous.

  The grain of Javanica rice is big, is chewy a little. Javanica rice is mainly harvested in Indonesia.

  The rice ball and the grilled rice ball are very famous in Japan. The rice ball is often with a savory filling and wrapped in seaweed, is called "Onigiri" in Japan.

  The grilled rice ball is Japanese rice ball with a crispy, savory exterior. It's basted with soy sauce and grilled until crispy. It has a cruncy, savory outer layer and a soft interior, is called "Yaki Onigiri" in Japan.

　在日本大米是主要收穫物。在日本北部水稻種植很盛行。日本的大米是短粒米。短粒米很黏，有嚼勁，很甜珍珠似的。大米是日本人的主食。我也喜歡大米。短粒米很好吃。
